Access and Inspection Door Upgrade

PROBLEM

The hatch the client wanted to add an access door to was covering a 640 x 740 opening into a ring gear guard cover. The existing door was heavy, requiring a two-man lift, was inefficient and did not have a proficient locking mechanism.

The opening also presented a significant hazard as when the door was removed there was a large void present. The components inside the hatch also needed to be kept watertight taking into consideration the limited space.

Testimonial:

Hi Roseanne

I wish to thank your team for the excellent design and fabrication of the Hatch door.

The door has slipped over the guard lip perfectly and operates as required without hitting the Gear Guard flanges.

So thank you for the great work.

Regards
