The Challenge
Operating in a high-production mining environment overseas, the site was preparing for a scheduled rebuild of multiple CAT 785D trucks. Several high-wear components needed replacing, including: Fuel tanks, nose cones, front hoods, rear hoods, RHS corner modules and LHS fenders.
The challenge? Some of these parts were already in stock at ROX, but others required new development to align with the site’s specific design and fitment requirements. With shipping timelines and production schedules on the line, there was no room for error.
